Delft University of Technology was founded in 1842 as the Royal Academy by King Willem II. It has been known as the Delft University of Technology (DUT) since 1986. At present, the university has about 200 full professors, 1500 PhD students and researchers, and 17000 BSc and MSc students

The Electrical Power Processing group is part of the Department of Electrical Sustainable Energy, which is part of the faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science. The group has a number of key areas of specialization including, but may not be limited to:


  • Packaging and integration of power electronics
  • Electrical infrastructures for offshore wind farms
  • Grid integration of electric mobility
  • Generator systems for renewable energy conversion
